Programs

Three programs. One club.

Every GRC member joins one of three programs: client consulting, applied research, or consulting-recruiting coaching. Each has its own format, roles, and deliverables, and each meets weekly.

Strategy & Impact Consulting

Real engagements,
real clients.

SIC gives students hands-on experience solving real business and societal challenges for startups, nonprofits, and social-impact projects, while building consulting fundamentals.

Program overview

Model
Project-based. Each client engagement is staffed as an independent team of 3–4 consultants + 1 project manager.
Cadence
Weekly internal working sessions, plus bi-weekly or monthly client check-ins.
Timeline
One 8–10 week project per semester.
Deliverables
Market-entry strategies, competitive benchmarking, GTM roadmaps, pricing analysis, and operational recommendations.

Applied Research Team

GRC's internal
think tank.

ART focuses on macro trends, policy analysis, and industry insights, producing concise reports that build member expertise and organizational credibility.

Program overview

Model
Pod-based. Members group into small research pods by interest area, each with 3–4 analysts + 1 research lead.
Cadence
Flexible internal working sessions, plus bi-weekly check-ins across all pods.
Onboarding
An initial skills-building block covering the research methods needed to be successful.
Output
One large publishable paper, or five shorter pieces per semester, such as policy briefs and industry deep dives.
WAM

Get ahead in
consulting recruiting.

Workshop and Mentorship (WAM) is GRC's internal coaching system, helping underclassmen break into consulting through peer-led training, 1-on-1 coaching, and structured practice.

Program overview

Model
Classroom-style. All mentees meet weekly to learn from WAM leads about industries, recruiting etiquette, and more.
1-on-1 mentorship
Regular meetings with an assigned mentor, including mock behavioral and case interviews. Sessions start with an introduction to the consulting industry, then move into structured recruiting help aligned to the actual recruiting timeline, all within the same semester.
Eligibility
Open to first-years and sophomores. Juniors and seniors who have been through the program lead as WAM mentors.

What you leave with

  • An internal team case-project presentation.
  • A polished résumé, cold-email templates, and offer-letter know-how.
  • Mock behavioral and case interview reps with a mentor.
